Reminds me of all the “natural viagras” being sold in turkey. Every fucking fruit or preserved fruit based dessert is sold as an aphrodisiac.

Apples are a traditional aphrodesiac now that you mention it. For men. Licorice is for woman. That is real though, the licorice, the apple is a bit questionable.

finns inhale licorice all the time and i can’t say i’ve ever heard of them being particularly raunchy

then again maybe it just brings them back up to a normal level, and that’s why they self-medicate with licorice…

It’s a female aphrodesiac, but as with a lot of stuff, it works better with some people than with others, and there are sometimes drugs, substances you can take it with that will make it more effective. I don’t have the full story, but some woman are supposed to be able to orgasm just by yawning on black licorice.
