I cannot overstate how great the sign-in experience can be when a site implements passkeys well. One click and I'm in. No wondering about passwords or 2FA codes. So nice.

@mangochutney I've never experienced passkeys on any system other than Linux with 1Password, so I'm curious about experiences without that combination.

What platform are you on? Where did your passkey get stored? Did you have any difficulties with setting that up?

@savanni macOS, iOS, Windows, Linux are the platforms. All passkeys are in 1Password and by and large the setup was easy. Sometimes Chrome or macOS tried to interfere and direct the passkey to their silos but other than that I‘m happy.

We did do a lot of work in 1Password to make it handle passkeys flawlessly. I wasn't part of that work, mind you, but I was around the people who did.
