Here's some fun stuff (for a given value of fun)

I have quite a low Epstein number. I know at least a couple of people named in the files.

There are people I _personally_ know (though these days we're just social media mutuals) but are NOT in the creepy category.

They are there because they are mentioned in emails by Lawrence Krauss, physicist and serial pest, in the context of "hey jeff, how do I handle these accusations from these people?".

He was talking, in part, about an incident that occurred at a Convention in Melbourne at which I was very much an attendee. IIRC Krauss was also a speaker at a later Con in Sydney, at which I was also a speaker/panellist

I have also passingly met (said hi to, had short converations with) Krauss, Dennett, Dawkins, Gates, and probably a few other named people (is Shermer in there?), at various sci/tech/skeptic events. They're all very much direct contacts of Epstein. BillG I briefly met through work, in Seattle, in a conference room in (I think) the Space Needle. Or nearby anyway. I was somewhat tipsy, given I was on an expenses paid conference jolly with a very permissive expense policy.

So yeah, low Epstein number. My Degrees of Creepy Bacon are... troubling
