Sort of a quieter day today. Checked my list of what to pack for camp. Got most of it sorted. Of course - overpacking as usual considering only for 2-3 nights. Probably taking enough charged phone banks to manage several phones.

Trying to find nightwear that will be cool enough for humid summer nights without the risk of flashing other dorm residents was tricky. Think i've achieved that. 🤞

Visited cousin in hospital after lunch. Then went to a small singalong at Rising Tide (protest songs). After that finished, packed up some RT supplies for the camp (mostly soft furnishings). Filled the back to the brim. Now home again.
Managed to add several more rugs in after this.

Tomorrow morning, going to join a small climate change protest outside State MP Tim Crackanthorp's office, organised by Lock the Gate. If you're local to Newcastle and want to join in, details in link. #NewcastleNSW #activism #climateChange #LockTheGate #RisingTide

Going to have to make some protest placards of my own at some point.
@psychopoesie hope camp is fun, wish I could be there but work and family responsibilities this month mean I can’t make it

@emmadavidson thanks. Sorry you have to miss it.

I'm only going for the weekend rather than the more adventurous training stuff. Really looking forward to it though.
