What’s your go‑to “I don’t want to cook but I have to” meal?
@queenofthenerds Chicken bouillon with cubed tofu & something else, plus a bit of toasted sesame oil. The other additions vary, depending on mood & larder. Can be: hard-cooked egg, cooked rice, chopped scallion, frozen peas or green beans, cooked shredded chicken. The bowl is usually ready by the time the kettle boils.
Also, fruit smoothies with Greek yogurt & whey protein powder. A pile of frozen fruit and/or a senior banana lord, about a cup of yogurt, and about 30 g of protein powder.
I can get myself to prepare and eat these when I don't want to either cook or eat.
