#I2P is not looking so good today.

The I2P network is currently slow and unstable because an unknown party is currently attacking the entire network

@kitacat Can an unknown party just send packets in circles through the network? I Wonder if proof of work for each packet one wants to send in the network could fix such issues.
@xXgarland i'm unsure, but it is technically possible to attack the network by sending bogus data to each router causing them to increase memory, disk and network usage and crash, which is whats happening to lots of people lately. This could also be done by bringing up malicious routers which their sole purpose is to disrupt the network as much as they can
