@rotan Good question. I was glad that Lawrence O'Donnell ran most of it on his show last night. But he didn't go into the part about what happened inside the Whipple Center because he didn't have video. We've learned that Americans need to see the video. And THEN take it seriously to do something.
We're competing in a system that is overwhelmed with horrible stories. Also, they INSTANTLY push false narratives about what happened. @emptywheel @nicolesandler

The maxims of "seeing is believing" and "truth written in black and white" have become so thoroughly undermined that it's now trivial for the miscreants to steer the narrative, and even the backstop of education seems to have crumbled under the onslaught of opinion, misdirection and outright lies. People need to remember how to think for themselves before it's too late.
