Linguistic question: Does anyone have an English or non-English singular word which expresses the concept of a door between rooms or a door that is between an interior and exterior space sized appropriately for a human to walk through in an upright manner and nothing else?
I have realized today that 'door' has been overloaded with any form of hatch (e.g. car door, cabinet door, appliance door, etc). The closest I've thought of so far is "Door within a doorway" (though even that definition may be flawed if the doorway is open as the door is affixed to the doorway, but isn't 'within' it anymore)
