elixCan anyone give me a tip on how to make it so I can write longer posts? I see others who are able to write more yet its giving me character limits. I'm using tusky and wondering if it's app related?

@[email protected] Yes. Mastodon's default is 500 characters. Many servers are running forks of Mastodon where this limit can be changed easily. On Mastodon it can be changed with a bit of hacking by the server admin. You are also likely seeing posts from people not on Mastodon but other parts of the Fediverse where this limit doesn't exist at all! I could modify the limit here! It required a small bit of hacking but is not difficult, but I think it is a good idea. I'll put it on the todo list.
