I'm interested to follow the reaction to "fatbikes" in the Netherlands - here, this term doesn't just mean anything with fat tyres, the trend is ONLY about electric bikes with fat tyres and a reclining low-effort seat posture. Popular among teens. Many adults are snooty about them. One adult (?) even made this graffiti stencil: #fatbike

The new Dutch government announced their agenda this week. Including plans to make a special category for fatbikes, with a minimum age and helmet requirement. Looking forward to how they define #fatbike, and how their definition will somehow also exclude all the e-bikes and e-cargo bikes that adults have been using for years without causing outrage.
