Documenting in/outputs of cabling and port mapping of the #X32, so I can patch them correctly on the #Wing#wip
Although I can’t remember currently why I needed three stereo outputs patched towards my left-hand desk. I need two, but the third?….
Ok, now I can again listen to music, watch tv or have meetings. All at the same time even. Might need to spend some time eq-ing out the microphone feedback if I want to meet while using the loudspeakers instead of headphones
Although I can’t yet reason why the behavior of the audio from the Mac is so different on the Wing compared to the X32. I now have to crank the output on the Scarlett all the way up, on the X32 I never had to do that….
Look there it is! 😂
Need to get some cabling from storage to clean it up a bit

Ok ok, this is the much more interesting view.

Had the stage box for a long time, since it came with my old x32 that stopped working last week, but never tried it. Connected a microphone to it and after connecting the AES50 cable to the correct port it just worked. Sometimes audio is too easy 😂

Need to remove the screen protection one of these days
I am thinking of adding a silent fan to the rear cover of the case my #wing is in. The wing is noticeably warm in the case (nowhere near hot) and I feel like in summer a silent fan would make it much happier. Pulling the heat from the case probably…
@bix Yeah, as far as prrofessional multichannel digital audio goes, AES50 is pretty much as simple as it gets. Which is both a good and bad thing.
