A bittersweet feeling as I start “The Regicide Report”; the last of the Laundry Files by @cstross.

For my money no other author comes close to pulling off this signature tongue-in-cheek-existential-horror-comedy. Charlie captures the GenX nerd spirit and twists it into wry commentary on how screwed up it all is these days.

It’s been a 20 odd year journey with Bob and co, one which I have enjoyed immensely.
