I work in an NHS hospital. Why is our access to the European Parliamentary Forum for Sexual and Reproductive Rights website blocked? Why do we block any website that mentions "Abortion" as standard!

The answer is the American company Trend Micro.

I've had a comment that the EPFSRR is a politically leading pressure group and has had previous disagreements which they could have handled better.
However - my point still stands. This is blocked because of the topic Abortion. If I could get onto the website I'd be able to see what the EPFSRR stance is.

Trend Micro have not blocked this for the category of "Politics" or "Activist Group".

@HowardGees That's a locally installed version of their web filtering software. You likely need to take this up with hospital/trust IT management.
@HowardGees That is to say: yes, American company but that's a local decision that someone in your area has made.
@greem It is a decision that someone has failed to make; this is the default setting from Trend Micro.
@HowardGees The setting isn't default, however Abortion is under Adult category for some reason.
