@Zekovski@itsfoss The first time I heard his name was in Ponuthoral's and Loeliger's book "Version Control with Git" when citing his five reasons for adequate use cases of Git hooks.
I saw Linus Torvalds on "Fake Linus" Tech Tips recently and they talked about this. Torvalds said he created GIT because he needed it, but as soon as he noticed someone who could take it over and continue it, he happily handed it over and moved on to other things.
