We're excited to announce Pixi GUI, developed by our working student Felix Häcker! With the goal to make Pixi accessible to a wider audience while also empowering expert users.

When you start Pixi GUI, you are greeted with the option to open an existing workspace or to create a new one. In case you used Pixi GUI before, it will also show your last opened workspaces.
The main view is the run overview. Here you will find all your Pixi tasks with a handy search bar to find the correct one.
It also gives you the power to open your favorite editor inside of one of your Pixi environments. With Jupyter Lab, we even install it for you!
When you run a task, you see the progress in an embedded terminal. You can also run multiple tasks at the same time.
Finally, we include a manifest editor. With this you can adapt dependencies, tasks and environments.
