Trump has renewed pressure for the Senate to pass the SAVE Act, which requires proof of citizenship to vote. For the 69 million women who have changed their last name this would create a barrier to voting.

For a bunch of fragile patriarchs who are afraid of the world not conforming to their every beliefs, that is one wild way to end the name change tradition.

BTW, did it not occur to them that women could change BACK to their maiden names?
