Democrats want:

- Laws that apply equally to everyone, no matter if they're elected or wealthy, and no matter their race, ethnicity, gender or identity.

- Everyone who committed a crime referenced in the Epstein files to face justice, regardless of party.

- Elected officials to follow the law and Constitution.

- Fair elections.

- Laws, public health, and regulation based on data and science, not misinformation.

How are these considered radical "progressive" positions to some?!

@augieray Democratic Party members want those things, but the old guard Democratic Party leadership only wants maybe one or two of those things, which is a big disconnect with the base.

@raven667 Currently, it can all be traced back to Citizens United. But even before CU, the wealthy made damn sure that politicians were beholden to them. It would take herculean courage to change this.
