"The Zersetzung is working. He is taking himself apart, piece by piece, and replacing the parts with synthetic fillers because the world has told him his own parts are defective."

"The Colonization of Confidence" by Robert Kingett (@WeirdWriter) is one of the best pieces of writing about "AI" I have ever seen. Read it over lunch and it literally made me cry in the restaurant.

@tante yes. really impressive and deep.
@bituur_esztreym I am not a writer and texts like that one make me realize that intensely. Luckily I am old enough to forget it after a few weeks an can write myself again.
@tante i write (poetry only since 15 years, and also other things before). this text exemplifies to a hard level how writing is someone's proper, personal work, and how writing is writing *for* somebody, who will do the prper, personal reading work. how this is essential.
@tante enjoyed this little piece of genius, thanks for sharing it! I found myself thinking about Boots Riley's Sorry to Bother You afterwards (a good thing for me)
@ink @tante I haven't seen that movie in years, or is it something else you are referencing, but I hope the feed makes it into your reader at least! https://sightlessscribbles.com/follow/

Somebody else shared it and I read it this morning. I absolutely love the wonderful metaphors that show how the writer perceives the world. Powerful and inspiring.
