Finished #reading Dungeon Crawler Carl after my wife kept going on about it. It's so good!

Carl and his cat, Princess Donut, are thrust into a D&D style dungeon for entertainment by an alien race which just killed most of humanity.

The undertones are pretty grim, and the first few chapters are not that fun, but things really get going once the cat starts talking.

I've already started the second book.

@anakin78z I zipped through the first 2 books a couple of weeks ago - and I’m not a fan of RPGs! - but vol 3 is tedious so far.

It’s so fun to see someone else on the same reading journey.

And, yes, the talking cat kept me interested

@anakin78z She might need a Princess Donut tshirt or other merch. There are tons of choices.

(Of course, I’m saying this because *I* want a tshirt)
