I am still wondering why Apple exited the wireless router business. They clearly know wireless tech. Imagine all they could do to not only provide a better solution for setup and management for these systems but also what they could do for security and HomeKit tech. I just don't get it.

@marioguzman This reminds me of a video I watched recently on the history of Apple and WiFi. I found it interesting, I didn’t realize how big of a role they played in adoption of 802.11b. At the time, we had some Avaya AP at home whose guts were likely very similar to the AirPort, and probably largely possible because of it. I miss Apple as an underdog.
