@Guillotine_Jones Eh, I don't think it's that complicated. I think escalation was clearly part of the plan, but I think that when and how it happened was spontaneous; they didn't instruct those two specific guys to shoot a white guy in the back. There were a bunch of psychopaths out there with itchy trigger fingers who'd just seen that the president and FBI would protect them if they murdered somebody; something like this was inevitable. @emptywheel.bsky.social
