Three hours left till the auction ends… still no bids so it is your chance to get them for cheap!

@akelatakawolf my own interests in fursuit commissions are quite different, but i call this amazing nice detail work and very hope you find a buyer here
@Laberpferd Thank you 😊
@akelatakawolf i absolutely love well made realistic fursuits, alternatively also some ideas technically advancing to new worlds where no suiter has been before :)
@Laberpferd I also love good challenges, but I still work with the idea that the suit will be worn an entire day in a hot weather on a con 😁 (that’s what limits some of my ideas)

@akelatakawolf it is an very good idea to design and build suits with the goal that they can be worn a long time, perhaps the whole day, in the context of going fursuiting on and around a furry convention or similar

Some projects, my wish for a realistic Mustang-like suit is also in that direction

@akelatakawolf
My comments here were asking if you want to talk about suit ideas going outside of this frame

This includes your own hint "(that’s what limits some of my ideas)" making me very curious what more special ideas you have, that might have other fun or artistic visions outside that do not fall within your goals of practicability or longtime wearability

Myself i also have visions and technically advanced suit ideas, but not yet found a maker who feel comfortable to shape and sew them

@Laberpferd My limitations are also finances - while I would love to work on suits of various rare species, I am pretty sure these would not sell. So unfortunately, if I think of fursuits as premades, these always need to be attractive species, efficient for long and comfortable wear, and easy for me to make so they wouldn’t be out of everyone’s budget 😅 But I went a bit wild with my own OC :)

However. I love to discuss difficult projects, even if just in theory.

@akelatakawolf
To say this first, i have two very different interests in fursuiting, leading to two very different seperate replies

The one is suiting to transform in my soul animal

If you make a premade horse that has kind of realistic mustang or zebra-like character and it falls into a time and with money availabe i might be the one to buy it

Doesnt need a moving jaw, but maybe true hooves if i find approbiate boots again, everything for comfortable wear over longer timescale

@Laberpferd A mustang or zebra with static jaw would be quite easy to do, but I don’t like suit without moving jaws. Not only the breathability would be much worse, but also the mask looks too stiff, too lifeless when worn. The moving jaw always gives the character so much life and personality 😁

I won’t make a premade horse anytime soon, but hopefully one day I will, I would really love to! And with a moving jaw. But… you know… wolves, dragons, and jaguars must go first 😅

@Laberpferd If you’d like to discuss your vision with me, that’d be great! Yes, if it is something complicated, I will probably tell you “that would be too heavy, uncomfortable, and too expensive to make to be worthy” 😃 But who knows. Maybe in the end we can come up with something doable, and I may make that fursuit for you? 😁

I was thinking about making a horse, the head shape itself is a challenge for comfortable costume with opening jaw. Not impossible though :)

@akelatakawolf
The other is more the kind of going on an adventure, exploring new worlds

For this the suit is not a character at all, but an adaption from human body into a species aprobiate to live in different elements

For example, you might have seen something 12 years ago on FA a water dragon suit going into the water like mermaiding

@Laberpferd I am really sorry but I have no idea what are you talking about here. Like..,ok, I know about mermaid suits, but I don’t understand how to generalize this. You don’t wanna be a horse on fire or something…I guess 😅
