@georgetakei FWIW the UK gov used to have something called a Child Trust Fund https://www.gov.uk/child-trust-funds where they would give the parents some money that could only be put into an investment in the child’s name.
It morphed into a ‘Junior ISA’ which is similar but without the free gov money.
