Haul #7: Electric typewriter!

I picked up my first typewriter, a Brother ML-300 Electronic Typewriter with Display, right when it went public at University Surplus this morning. It had been mislabeled as a fax machine and I got a great deal on it, just $20.

Acquired: 2026-02-02.

With the "FAX MACHINE BROTHER" labels, it flew under the radar. Even knowing it's a typewriter, the covered display made it look like an ML-100.

@thalia I can understand not realizing it's a typewriter, but a fax machine?! I don't think the person who mislabeled it has ever seen a fax machine. They don't usually have a full keyboard for one thing
