Maximum Toronto?

North-facing Union Station on the left is lit by sunlight reflected from RBC Plaza across the street and behind the camera (not visible in pic).

The Royal York Hotel is on the right. I stayed there when I was a kid. I was the annoying kid on the train yelling "I see the CN Tower! Mom! Dad! Random stranger! Look!" (Any other Gen Xers remember the paper fold-together trains they handed out to us kids?)

The CN Tower rises above.

A TTC logo completes the Torontoness.

@NuanceRhymesWithOrange @mayintoronto Nice shot.

Not only do I remember those folded trains, I was at an event when I was working with the CBC shortly pre-pandemic where they had various provincial and municipal reps greeting the public for whatever was happening, and both the TTC and GO booths had those folded paper trains on display.

I had into the kid in me and got one of both. 🙂

@reay @NuanceRhymesWithOrange They still have those at some of the major station counters. You can get them from metrolinx offices as well for the Ontario line (while supplies last).
@mayintoronto @reay @NuanceRhymesWithOrange Do we actually know what the Ontario Line cars will look like yet?
@reay @NuanceRhymesWithOrange @oclsc Yeah. It's on all their materials

@reay @NuanceRhymesWithOrange @mayintoronto I wonder what the odds are that the real cars will look as predicted now.

Then again, what are the odds there will be real cars in my lifetime?
