Juggling Lab has been around since 1997, and is still being developed <3. It has its own markup language and a GIF server for juggling gifs as a service.

@julienbidoret The included gif is interesting. I expected the pattern to be uniform all the way round. I'm not certain, but I think there's 3 balls cycling between the left hand of juggler 2 and the right hand of juggler 3, with the rest of the balls cycling between the remaining hands.
@GerardThornley Indeed, the movement is quite weird, and I guess that few IRL jugglers would do that. In Siteswap (by far the simplest way to markup juggling patterns) it's notated <(2p3,4x)|(2xp3,4p1)|(2xp2,4xp2)> and this is one of the things I find really funny with JugglingLab, being able to play with the markup first and then discover how it renders.
