I’ve been on a bit of a printing tear lately. Who says you can’t print a 35mm negative at 13” x 19”. I wanted to see how this photo looked printed as large as I could on my Epson P900. I love this printer. I love printing.
@tomnorthfilm I am terrible at printing! I've finally got an Epson ET-8550 and can make black and white prints that really are. But it's so much trial and error! Printing a #PostCardFromAfar and I printed 3 b&w scenes on 7x5, one twice, then the selected low key scene 3 times on matte and twice on oyster, before getting somewhere near acceptable. All using ABW and printing via EPL. 1/2
@tomnorthfilm I also wanted to send my coffee roaster a card; she writes lovely hand-written notes on the packing slips, and remembers I used to drink only decaf. So I've found a still life with coffee cup, grinder, filter etc. I think that took 3 goes on oyster. Turns out printer manages colour was better than using the ICC Profile for paper & printer (recently calibrated my laptop, too). Largest I've printed is A4, could go to A3+ but rather scared of costs of multiple print attempts! 2/2
