one absolutely bizarre thing about Claude Code et al. is that Engineering Manager experience actually makes you better at it. Since it's trained on a vast corpus of questionable code, you have to say "yes, no, no, yes, no" a lot. It really hammers on what's called "executive function". So, it can cause decision fatigue, where you've made so many decisions in one day that you don't want to pick what's for dinner, even though this is an easy choice.
