I usually just use my electric scooter (mostly because we don't have bike lanes in my town, so being as compact as possible is kinda a necessity, and also I have horrific endurance), but I dunno... Biking might be better because of the lack of electricity and the fact you can ride better in snow.

Lots of electric bikes around in the winter too though. I think it's probably mostly the stability thing. Electric bikes are a great way to get around.
