So here's a thought. If you're going to hold your microphone in your hand, use a "handheld" microphone. Don't use a lavalier or "studio" microphone. If you're going to use a studio microphone, mount it on a stand, where it belongs. If you're going to use a lavalier mic, hook it om your clothes, where it belongs. Christ.
