So I completed a specialization through #Coursera and now it wants me to verify my ID through #Persona before they issue my certificate. There are very few things less likely to happen.
I sent a mail to customer support, but if this is a hard requirement, this has been my last course there. And yes, I am paying for this ($50 per month).
Just give me my pdf with my name in nice italic font, Coursera, like you always did…

I understand that you're being requested to attempt the ID Verification in order to receive your certificates of completion, although previous courses does not require it. Unfortunately, the Deep Learning Specialization you're enrolled into requires the completion of the ID Verification since most of the courses there are included within the MasterTracks or Degree enrollments or are being used for those programs.

… In such case, although the previous courses you received a certificate by only verifying your name, the next course part you're enrolled into at the moment "Sequence Models" requires your ID Verification to be included for your certificates to be released.
