@Natasha_Jay Old geeks may remember the distinction between mks (meter-kilogram-second, the basis for the current SI) and cgs (centimeter-gram-second) units, so presumably this is the ccs (corgi-corgi-second) system. It simplifies things by introducing the Standard Corgi as both a length and a mass standard (the latter requires a mandated feeding schedule, so has a small dependence on the precise definition of the time unit).
