He does know the Arc de Triomphe was built to honor those who fought & died for France during the French Revolutionary & Napoleonic Wars right? Wait, of course he doesn’t. In fact all the Archs of Triumph are monuments. What’s this a monument for, oh yeah, himself. He truly does fancy himself a Roman emperor doesn’t he?

#Trump has grown attached to the idea of a 250-foot-tall structure overlooking the Potomac River, acc/to 2 people who spoke anonymously to describe his comments, a scale that has alarmed some architectural experts who initially supported the idea of an arch but expected a far smaller one.
