@cyplo @rachel @ShadowJonathan @occurrent There's a possible 'open printer' coming along, but it's uncertain when.

In the meantime get a laser printer that has PCL or Postscript built into it. Preferably one that explicitly lists open source support on their website.

Yes, it will take up a bit more space than an inkjet. Yes it will cost a bit more too. However it will work.

The problem is people want a) cheap and b) inkjets, and for inkjets it's necessary to be very careful what you choose, and to maintain it properly.
