I remotely helped s/o named Budi whom i'd never met before fix their dryer, after his girlfriend had heard that I'm a Repairfox on a furry group chat.

As the motor was missing torque and sometimes wouldn't turn at all, but there was no mechanical problem, I was pretty sure it had to be the capacitor's fault. Took some convincing until Budi had enough confidence to measure the capacity. It had <40% of its nominal value left. After the replacement, everything worked fine again!
