I mocked up a screenshot with the Next Up Timeline complication from @flexibits Fantastical on my watch with a Photoshop edit visualizing the possibility of the current day and date included for consideration as a future option.

Since I currently use one of the smaller positions as another Fantastical complication showing day/date, it would free up that space for something else if day/date could optionally be part of the timeline complication.
