It has been now 4 days of multiple rejections for a *critical bug fix update* to my app, where App Review asks me to remove entitlements that my app doesn't need, like com.apple.security.files.downloads.read-write

It has been now 4 days where I try to explain to App Review that I need that entitlement to save a photo to the Downloads folder, as the default save location.

It's 1 Infinite Loop, where it looks like they ignore my explanation and write back the exact same request.

It has been now a full week of me trying to ship a critical bug fix to my users, and my app keep getting rejected for completely unrelated and unjustified reasons.

I’ve filled an appeal (no answer), I’ve made changes to address their problems, nothing. I’m stuck.

@rafa Oh man I really feel for you. I’ve been there before. The process is panic inducing with zero agency and little transparency. It feel arbitrary and it is hard to tell if a real person is even involved. The decisions can feel very arbitrary and the wait can be intolerable. It is truly Kafkaesque. That being said, in my experience persistence and patience have worked out with Apple. Of course, your livelihood, reputation and ratings are all at risk while your users wait.
