Starting to plan #pyconus2026 logistics.

Bummer. There are no direct flights from Boston to Long Beach.

I find stop overs INCREDIBLY stressful, navigating between gates and figuring out the signage with low vision is - unfun :)

A coworker recommended flying into LAX and taking an Uber to Long Beach. That may bear some research!

@feoh or SNA if you would prefer a smaller airport, though I don't know if anyone does BOS-SNA these days.

Looking at a map, Long Beach is part of LA in the same sense that Framingham is part of Boston: you fly in to the major airport and get a ride to your hotel.

@dashdsrdash Yes that's the recommended route by the conference. There's supposedly an airport shuttle to the convention center.

Are you going? I'd love to buy you a beverage there.

It's a great conference, I think you'd appreciate the energy and the 'spirit' whether or not you're particularly excited about the technology in question.
