@jon Absolutely would subscribe! And very happy to hear that you’d be using Ghost and Stripe.

I would argue that you might even be able to charge more. Especially if you also offer the newsletter as a podcast (I’m thinking something like Stratechery’s format) and a discount for yearly subscribers (12 months for the price of 10 or 11).

@pblilou I am not doing podcasting. There are too many podcasts 😄 And I think I am better being a guest on other people's podcasts than trying anything of my own!

My point is that reading a newsletter aloud and using the distribution mechanism of podcasting as a technology doesn’t force you to be a « podcaster Â» in the editorial or content sense. But it might increase the value and broaden the audience of a newsletter with relatively little extra effort
