SofaFernsehFanOh well.. and then there was a machine storm and "Dune" describes a time of omnipotent nobles. So... they simply changed from being enslaved be machines owned by man to being enslaved by man with machines.
Sorry, Dune does not describe a future one wants to live in unless he's a male member of nobility. (Kinda like "before french revolution.")
