Even if the consumer uses of "AI" are mostly satisfactory (they don't have to be especially useful) the novelty will wear off, it'll be slightly cringe to say your product is "powered by AI" and put those stupid sparkles on it. The public are easily bored, and the billionaires have already squeezed their disposable income in a hundred other ways.
