@historianess saw the video a few hours ago. It's hard to tell details. He was armed, so they're going to claim self defense. What it looked like is he managed to break free and then made a break for it.

Point is, even if he was armed, it really looks like he was just trying to get away. They're already muddying the waters.

My son goes to MCAD. He's at school, and the campus is on lock down. I'm still freaking out though.
