SETI InstituteDr. Isabel Angelo earned her doctorate in 2025 from UCLA where she worked at the intersection of machine learning, physical models, and statistical methods to search for planets, binary stars, and anomalies in datasets including Kepler and Gaia.
Dr. Angelo is currently the Davie Postdoctoral Fellow at the SETI Institute and works on expanding ML-driven exoplanet detection to identify anomalous signals in transit data. These anomalies include both astrophysical anomalies and technosigature candidates.
