Sinners being the most nominated movie in Oscars history makes me like "hell yeah" but also I don't even like or trust award shows (because they're constantly on some bullshit and disrespectful), BUT all this to say:

watch Sinners if you haven't yet, read books by Black authors and Black American history and folklore to put that beautiful production in cultural context, it is so so so so amazing.
