Oh, I should point out, too, that infosec.exchange is not on Antropic's "allow" list for fetching content from, but when I attached a browser instrumentation MCP (which I leave off normally) and made the request again (without mentioning it should use it) Claude had zero issues bypassing the restrictions to get to it via that route. In essence, it used me as a residential proxy.

And, in other news, I wonder if Anthropic is at-the-ready to configure Claude to actually *be* a residential proxy node itself at some point to get around "legal" restrictions. None of these companies have any honor at all. They're all sociopaths. So I don't think it's far-fetched.
@hrbrmstr I have been working on something that we might be able to use to detect (and handle accordingly) this sort of connection at the server side. Might be time to accelerate that into something more production ready.
