I've just finished the second novel of the Earthsea saga.

I liked it much more than the first one. I loved Tenar more than I loved Ged. She felt more human, more well rounded, and relatable. The world building in the first part of the book was interesting, bleak and ritualistic, and of a ancient earthy flavour.

Le Guin's prose is always such a pleasure as well, not a word too much not a word too few, she has this power of conjuring something pure in my mind, that I love.

@mauro ngl I've read the whole series and The Tombs of Atuan remains my favorite by far (not that I dislike the other books). I just love Tenar
@mauro
I found the first one mesmerizing, but tougher to read since Ged is literally fighting his demons and it has that dark atmosphere about it
