It’s also a past you, so in a way they try to infantilise. We’re supposed to be static: no development or growth. No surprises. The stuck-in-the-past and averaging thing is just like β€˜AI’ LLMs as well. A kind of devilish succubus that sucks any individualisation out; smooths off all edges; flattens & compresses (someone who can only buy a kettle, listen to the same song, do what you have already done,…).πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«
