Since Tenor's API is dying, Discord is looking to replace it with the services of a company called Klipy. Klipy have extensively astroturfed Reddit and lie about scraping Tenor's GIF library

I can't do anything but I'm posting so I can say "I told you so" when something weird happens in 2030

@yhvr devils advocate: that specific gif's author refers to all "gif sharing" sites as tenor, the same way all search is google

but, leaving that aside, this is really funny when nearly all the gifs on both those platforms are copyright infringement themselves (no matter if you think that makes sense or not in a practical sense, afaik they are legally, could be wrong tho)
