I hate running. My body is not build for running & I suck at it. Partner (who gets into running flow easily) is making fun of me because the few times we went together, there is typically a point where I loudly exhale "ich hasse das" and continue.

Unfortunately, it's pretty good for me, physically and mentally, (physical exercise, outside esp. on days when I work from home and would not leave the house otherwise, time-limited) so I still run.

So if you run and hate it: you are not alone <3

@vicgrinberg I try to run but I plod it doesn't matter how much I try or adjust my gait I plod. I feel like a great plodding elephant and I trip up on my own feet. Weirdly I don't experience any of that when I dance. Bodies are fun, aren't they.
@Merlyn yeah! I also don't get even close to a flow while running - that only works with exercise that requires precision (pilates and similar). Dancing does not work for me at all, though - my one classical dance course in high school my dance buddy and I decided to skip the final dance and go to a rock festival instead XD
@vicgrinberg pilates is the best. I bought a 3rd hand reformer and never looked back. Ghetes something remarkable about pilates that sings to me, almost like meditation.
