Do the Americans not realise that… like every single one of them going back 4-5 generations are immigrants? Very few native Americans are out there because of immigration.
Too many Americans think “immigrant” is just a synonym for “not white”.
Which is stupid because their ancestors aren’t from this land. And millions of “not-whites” were forced to come here! Not that they will ever understand that.
mercWhen those immigrants were coming to the US, they were not considered “white”. Sometimes the discrimination was because of skin colour, sometimes it was religion. But, they weren’t considered to have the morals and work ethic of the English-descended protestants that dominated the USA.
